About the event
Discover how simple and rewarding it can be to start plants from scratch in our hands-on class. You’ll learn everything you need to begin—from choosing supplies and reading seed packets to understanding soil, planting techniques, setting up your growing space, potting up, and hardening off young plants.
We’ll also explore a few plants that are safe and beneficial for your favorite pets, along with important tips on which ones to avoid because they can be toxic to our furry best friends.
Best of all, you’ll get to practice right alongside us! Each participant will receive a 6-cell tray insert to plant during the session and take home, giving you a head start on your gardening journey.
